HR Operations Advisor

About the role

This is a full‑time HR Operations Advisor position within a respected investment management firm in Central London. You will work four days on‑site and one day remotely, supporting the entire employee lifecycle while driving an exceptional employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the HR inbox and respond to employee queries.
• Support joiners, movers and leavers throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Coordinate recruitment activities: job descriptions, agency liaison, interview scheduling, feedback collection and background checks.
• Prepare contracts, offer letters and new starter documentation.
• Organise inductions, probation reviews, training, benefits and pension administration.
• Assist with employee share schemes and payroll administration.
• Produce HR reports and management information.
• Support performance management processes and the internship programme.
• Identify and implement process improvements using technology and AI.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of HR operations or generalist experience.
• Background in investment management, asset management or banking.
• Proven experience managing the full employee lifecycle.
• Strong HRIS knowledge and prior payroll administration experience.
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Proactive, adaptable and able to hit the ground running.
• Interest in AI and technology‑driven HR improvements.
