HR Operations Business Partner - Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Business Partner to support a portfolio of around 700 employees across multiple hospitality venues in Central London and the South. You will act as the primary HR advisor to operational leaders, driving people initiatives, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering an engaging workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical HR advice and support to operational teams, coaching managers on employee‑relations, policies and best practice.
• Manage a full range of employee‑relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, flexible‑working and conflict resolution.
• Oversee the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through performance management and off‑boarding.
• Review and update HR policies to reflect legislative changes and business needs.
• Identify learning needs and deliver training programmes to build capability across teams.
• Monitor people data, produce regular HR reports and analyse trends to recommend improvements.
• Support appraisal processes and ensure completion across management teams.
• Maintain HR records in line with GDPR requirements and contribute to wider People Team projects.

Required profile

• Previous experience as an HR Business Partner within hospitality or leisure.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience handling complex employee‑relations cases.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships in a fast‑paced environment.
