HR Operations Manager – Lead HR Team & Process Improvement

About the role

The HR Operations Manager will lead a small team to deliver efficient, customer‑focused HR services across the employee life cycle. Reporting to the HR Director, you will combine people leadership with process improvement and operational governance to enhance service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the HR Operations team.
• Manage day‑to‑day HR administration across recruitment, onboarding, payroll and employee benefits.
• Oversee HR systems, people data, reporting and dashboard production.
• Build strong relationships with payroll stakeholders to improve accuracy and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline and standardise processes.
• Ensure governance, compliance and operational controls are maintained.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing HR Operations in a medium‑to‑large organisation.
• Strong knowledge of HR systems, payroll processes, people data and reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and customer‑focused approach.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
