HR & Recruitment Officer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or Recruitment Coordinator to join a fast‑paced, ambitious precious‑metals retailer. Working closely with the HR Business Partner, you will help attract great talent and deliver an outstanding employee experience across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment: manage end‑to‑end recruitment, screen CVs, conduct phone interviews, coordinate interviews, liaise with candidates and agencies, prepare offers, conduct pre‑employment checks and onboarding.
• HR operations: handle the HR inbox, prepare contracts and employment documentation, maintain employee records in the HR system, coordinate probation reviews, support absence and family‑leave administration, assist with payroll and produce HR reports.
• Employee relations support: draft documentation for disciplinary, grievance and capability processes, coordinate meetings and take minutes.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or Recruitment Coordinator.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to take ownership of tasks from day one.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards improving the employee experience.

Required skills

• Experience with an Applicant Tracking System and HR information system (HRIS).

What we offer

• Salary £30,000‑£35,000 depending on experience.
• Bonus up to 30%.
