About the role
The client, a specialist public‑sector organisation, is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environment initiatives across its Birmingham site. You will be responsible for embedding a safety‑first culture, supporting investigations and delivering training to all staff.
Key responsibilities
- Drive implementation of the SHE strategy and monitor progress against plans and objectives.
- Support investigations, close non‑conformances and develop root‑cause analysis with corrective actions.
- Assist with new projects, change‑management activities and risk assessments.
- Provide SHE induction and ongoing training for new starters and existing employees.
- Coach managers and staff to promote a safety‑perfect culture.
Required profile
- NEBOSH Certificate holder.
- Experience in manufacturing, construction or a similar industrial environment.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Comfortable delivering training and coaching.
