Human Factors Integration Manager – Edgewing

About the role

The Human Factors Integration Manager will lead the Human Factors Integration Management System for the Edgewing joint‑venture and related product lines. Based primarily on‑site in the Reading/Frimley area, the role offers flexible working arrangements where possible.

Key responsibilities

• Tailor and develop Human Factors (HF) approaches to meet project priorities, balancing time, cost and resources.
• Lead HF integration across the full product lifecycle, from concept through in‑service support, managing a team of HF engineers.
• Perform analysis of HF integration for design artefacts and provide technical governance and assurance across GCAP, Edgewing partners and suppliers.
• Interface with customers, partners and regulators, participating in HFI Working Groups and Requirements Working Groups in an international environment.
• Mentor and develop team members, ensuring high standards and consistency in HF integration across multiple initiatives.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Human Factors integration within aerospace, defence or related high‑technology sectors.
• Proven leadership and team‑management capabilities.
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and regulatory environments.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional and external partners.
