Human Resources Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources Advisor to join a leading luxury tour operator in London. The role will support managers and employees across three offices, providing day‑to‑day HR guidance and helping shape the people strategy in a fast‑moving, purpose‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the trusted first point of contact for employee‑relations queries, including probation, performance, conduct and family leave.
• Coach and support managers throughout the full employee lifecycle.
• Manage absence and long‑term sickness cases with a consistent, compliant approach.
• Interpret employment legislation and assist in developing policies, procedures and contracts.
• Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and support performance and engagement cycles.
• Administer benefits such as private medical insurance and salary‑sacrifice schemes.
• Facilitate DEI surveys and develop targeted engagement action plans.
• Support senior and specialist hiring, including drafting job descriptions and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Contribute to people strategy, L&D rollout and broader organisational effectiveness initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HR Generalist or People Advisor.
• Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling employee‑relations matters.
• Ability to coach managers and influence at all levels.
• Proactive mindset with sound judgement.
