Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

We are partnering with a leading global insurance firm to hire an HR Business Partner for their London office. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will blend operational HR delivery with strategic initiatives across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, providing guidance on people‑related matters.
• Manage low‑risk employee‑relations cases and deliver confidential coaching.
• Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, benefits, off‑boarding and payroll assistance.
• Maintain HR data accuracy in Workday and keep policies and intranet resources up to date.
• Analyse HR metrics, engagement surveys and exit interview data to identify trends.
• Facilitate performance review cycles, talent planning and succession initiatives.
• Oversee recruitment approvals, promote diversity‑focused hiring and support inclusive hiring training.
• Assist with annual compensation processes and wellbeing initiatives.

Required profile

• Early‑career HR professional with strong operational experience.
• CIPD qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience in financial services, insurance or professional services; exposure to European markets is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable in a fast‑paced, global environment.
• Strong organisational and analytical capabilities.
