Human Resources Manager – 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Moog is seeking a Human Resources Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to lead operational HR support for its Industrial Group across the UK, France and Spain. Based onsite in Tewkesbury, you will guide leaders through a major global reorganisation, ensuring clear communication and smooth transitions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for all people‑related matters across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations and exits.
• Advise and coach managers on HR policy, UK employment legislation and best practice, handling disciplinary, grievance, absence, redundancy and retirement processes.
• Partner with HR colleagues in France and Spain and external advisers to ensure compliance with local employment law.
• Own HR systems (Workday & Autotime) as a super‑user, maintaining data accuracy, approving lifecycle events and supporting system improvements.
• Manage absence reporting, occupational health provision and return‑to‑work outcomes in collaboration with EH&S.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience) and at least 5 years of HR generalist experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and proven experience supporting organisational change.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across international locations.
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and make sound decisions.

Required skills

• Workday HR system (super‑user level).
• Autotime time‑tracking system.
• Microsoft Office suite for data analysis and reporting.
