Human Resources Manager – Multi‑site Care Organisation

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will report to the Managing Director and be based at the Head Office in South West London, with regular travel to other sites across the London area. This senior position leads HR functions for a multi‑site care organisation, ensuring compliance, fostering a positive culture and driving workforce development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate HR activities across all sites, including employee relations, recruitment and retention.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, CQC standards and Home Office Sponsorship requirements.
• Manage employee relations cases independently and provide strategic advice to line managers.
• Develop and implement recruitment initiatives to meet staffing needs.
• Supervise and develop the HR and recruitment teams.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
• Travel to sites as required to support local HR delivery.

Required profile

• CIPD Level 7 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Proven senior HR experience in healthcare, social care or other multi‑site environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience managing employee relations cases independently.
• Excellent understanding of Home Office Sponsorship procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to drive recruitment initiatives.
• Prior experience supervising HR and recruitment teams.

Required skills

• CIPD Level 7 qualification.
• Knowledge of UK employment law.
• Familiarity with Home Office Sponsorship processes.
