Human Rights Programme Officer

About the role

This permanent, hybrid position with a leading international human‑rights charity supports the collection, analysis and use of digital evidence to hold perpetrators of serious violations accountable. Working in a small, collaborative team in central London, you will help turn photo, audio and video submissions into actionable intelligence for legal processes worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Review and triage photo, audio and video evidence submissions, including associated metadata.
• Analyse information to identify trends, patterns and key findings, and produce clear reports and data visualisations.
• Coordinate and manage a roster of pro‑bono lawyers, delivering inductions and training for new volunteers.
• Support the preparation of evidence dossiers through research, data curation and analysis.
• Maintain accurate records and databases, and assist with project coordination and stakeholder communications.

Required profile

• Degree‑level education in Data Science, International Relations or a related discipline.
• Experience working with databases and Microsoft Excel.
• Proven ability to analyse complex information and present findings clearly.
• Strong organisational and project‑coordination skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Genuine interest in international justice, human rights, criminal law or evidence gathering.
