About the role

Reed is seeking experienced Humanities teachers to join a pool of flexible supply staff for schools across Dartford and the South East. The role offers day‑to‑day assignments or longer placements, allowing you to choose the type of engagement that best fits your schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in English, Drama, History or Religious Education according to the school curriculum.
• Adapt teaching strategies to suit a variety of year groups and ability levels.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure a smooth handover between supply periods.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher with experience teaching one or more Humanities subjects.
• Flexibility to work on short‑notice assignments across different schools.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Subject‑specific knowledge in English, Drama, History or Religious Education.
