Humanities Teacher – Flexible Supply Roles (September)

About the role

Reed is seeking experienced Humanities teachers for flexible supply assignments starting in September. The role offers day‑to‑day or longer placements across schools in the Tonbridge area, covering subjects such as English, Drama, History and Religious Education.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in assigned Humanities subjects.
• Adapt teaching plans to meet the needs of different schools and student groups.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments and progress.
• Collaborate with school staff to support a positive learning environment.
• Provide feedback to pupils and contribute to their academic development.

Required profile

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English, Drama, History or Religious Education.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple schools and dates.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Required skills

• Subject‑specific knowledge in English, Drama, History or RE.
