About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Herne Bay from September 2026. The role covers Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, allowing you to teach a range of subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Humanities lessons for KS3‑KS5.
- Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
- Support learners of varying abilities to achieve their potential.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Humanities at secondary level, including A‑Level subjects.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for student success and continuous professional development.
