Humanities Teacher – Secondary School (Guildford)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Guildford. The role involves teaching History, Religious Studies and/or Geography to Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and support academic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Teach History, Religious Studies and/or Geography to Key Stages 3 and 4 students.
• Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons that inspire curiosity and support academic progress.
• Collaborate with the Humanities department and wider school staff to develop curriculum and share best practices.

Required profile

• Strong academic background and passion for History, Religious Studies and/or Geography.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable).
• Reflective practitioner committed to contributing to the wider school community.
