Humanities Teacher – Supply (Full‑time, Temporary)

About the role

We are looking for qualified Humanities teachers to provide supply cover across secondary schools in Kent for the upcoming academic year. The role is full‑time and temporary, offering day‑to‑day assignments as well as longer‑term placements, depending on school needs.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in English, Religious Education, History or related Humanities subjects across all key stages.
• Prepare and adapt teaching materials to meet the curriculum and the specific requirements of each school.
• Assess student progress, provide feedback and support catch‑up or intervention programmes.
• Cover for absent staff, ensuring continuity of learning and classroom management.
• Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to maintain a positive learning environment.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching English, RE or Humanities at secondary level.
• Flexibility to work across different schools and key stages.
• Reliability and strong classroom management skills.
