HV / LV Electrical Test Engineer

About the role

A great opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Testing Engineer to join a leading manufacturing company in the power and electrical industry. The role involves in‑house testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of high‑voltage (HV) and low‑voltage (LV) equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform in‑house testing of electrical power equipment, marshalling enclosures and control panels.
• Test LV cabinets and control devices, and carry out protection modifications as required.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues during testing and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all activities comply with Health & Safety and Risk Assessment policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical testing and commissioning within an engineering environment.
• Relevant electrical qualifications and solid knowledge of electrical regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices.
