HVAC Commissioning Engineer – Full Training & Overtime

About the role

We are looking for an aspiring HVAC Commissioning Engineer to join a fast‑growing manufacturer. The role is home‑based with occasional 1‑2 night stays away, offering full OEM training on the product range and a clear path to become a qualified commissioning specialist.

Key responsibilities

• Perform commissioning and limited service work on education sites such as schools and universities.
• Travel to client locations, staying away up to two nights per week, with no on‑call duties.
• Work a standard 40‑hour week, with overtime paid at 1x up to 50 hours and 1.5x beyond.
• Complete OEM training and develop product expertise.

Required profile

• Background in electrical, facilities, or building services engineering.
• Valid UK driver’s licence.
• Willingness to travel within Yorkshire & Humberside and surrounding commutable areas.
• Motivation to progress to a fully qualified commissioning engineer.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Understanding of electrical systems.
• Experience with building services installations.

• Salary £40,000‑£50,000 per year plus OTE £10,000 from overtime.
