HVAC Engineer – Door to Door Service (Southampton)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified HVAC Engineer to join a leading provider of mobile medical equipment. You will be based in Southampton and will travel door‑to‑door across the South of England, servicing and maintaining HVAC and refrigeration systems in mobile medical units.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in mobile medical cabins.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on AC systems, cold‑water chillers and fridge units.
• Carry out scheduled maintenance (planned two weeks in advance) and reactive repairs.
• Participate in an on‑call rota (1 in 4 weeks) with a weekly allowance.
• Travel to sites within a 4‑hour radius of Southampton and occasional nationwide assignments.

Required profile

• Qualified Refrigeration or HVAC Engineer.
• F‑Gas Certificate or NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air‑Conditioning.
• Willingness to commute to sites across the South and occasional nationwide locations.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday 8 am‑5 pm with extensive overtime.

Required skills

• Field service diagnostics and on‑call support.
