HVAC Service Manager – £55k‑£70k + Vehicle

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead a high‑performing service department generating £2.6M annually. Based in Southern England with flexible commuting from Hampshire or Dorset, you will oversee technical excellence, procurement and client relationships while supported by an Assistant Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and act as the sounding board for a skilled HVAC engineering team.
• Assist with technical quotations, parts sourcing and ensure accurate cost estimates.
• Manage key client relationships, supporting Project Service Managers on major accounts.
• Occasional travel across the UK and rare trips to Europe to meet prestigious international clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HVAC Service Manager or similar senior technical role.
• Strong management and leadership abilities with a focus on operational excellence.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with senior directors.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of HVAC systems, air‑conditioning and chillers up to 250 kW.
• Experience preparing technical quotations and sourcing components.
• Familiarity with service delivery in critical environments such as data centres.
