IAM Specialist – Identity Governance & Administration (Contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IAM Specialist on a contract basis to lead the hands‑on implementation and configuration of an Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) platform for a public‑sector client. Working within a cyber‑security team, you will integrate the IGA solution with Microsoft Entra ID and connect authoritative sources such as HR and contractor databases.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and configure an IGA platform (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, Omada, One Identity).
• Integrate the IGA solution with Microsoft Entra ID and authoritative data sources.
• Design and automate joiner‑mover‑leaver processes with provisioning and de‑provisioning.
• Build approval workflows for access requests and role assignments.
• Configure connectors for Active Directory, Entra ID, SaaS and on‑prem systems.
• Implement access certifications, RBAC models and segregation‑of‑duties controls.
• Configure SSO and federation using SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and SCIM.
• Troubleshoot provisioning, synchronization and connector issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and support audit/compliance activities.

Required profile

• Hands‑on delivery experience with major IGA platforms.
• Strong background integrating with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Proven experience connecting HR or other authoritative systems.
• Solid understanding of identity lifecycle automation.
• Active SC security clearance.
