IAM Systems Administrator – Hybrid – Oxford, UK

About the role

We are seeking an Identity & Access Management (IAM) Systems Administrator to join a leading biotechnology innovator in Oxford. The role is hybrid, combining on‑site collaboration with remote work, and focuses on securing and scaling the company’s global digital footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Own the technical administration of Okta, Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
• Deploy and maintain device posture checks, patching alignment and authentication policies.
• Optimize Single Sign‑On (SSO) and SCIM provisioning to improve user experience.
• Coordinate complex projects and testing with external managed service providers.
• Partner with InfoSec, Architecture and Support teams to ensure smooth production roll‑outs.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Deep understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OIDC protocols.
• Proven ability to integrate third‑party SaaS applications via identity providers and APIs.
• Experience migrating configurations between QA and production safely.
• Security‑first mindset with clear documentation practices.
