ICT Technician – Schools

About the role

We are looking for an experienced ICT Technician to provide first‑class IT support to secondary schools across the South East. You will act as the primary technical contact, ensuring that school networks, devices and services run smoothly and support teaching and learning.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain servers, networking equipment, telephony and classroom hardware.
• Provide 2nd‑line support for Windows desktops, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory and virtual environments (Hyper‑V).
• Support a range of devices including Chromebooks and Apple products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly, both on‑site and remotely.
• Deliver excellent customer service and act as the liaison between schools and the wider service provider.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an IT support role, preferably up to 2nd‑line level.
• Demonstrated experience supporting a secondary school environment.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and a customer‑focused attitude.

What we offer

• Base salary £29,000‑£33,000 per year.
