Identity Access Management Systems Administrator

About the role

The client is a UK‑headquartered global biotechnology innovator seeking an experienced Identity Access Management (IAM) Systems Administrator. Working in a hybrid model from Oxford, you will own the technical administration of core identity platforms and ensure secure, seamless access for a worldwide user base.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary admin for Okta, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
• Deploy and configure device posture checks, patch alignment, and authentication policies.
• Optimize Single Sign‑On (SSO) and SCIM provisioning to improve user experience.
• Integrate third‑party SaaS applications via identity providers and APIs.
• Coordinate project work and testing with external managed service providers.
• Partner with InfoSec, Architecture, and Support teams to manage QA and production rollouts.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, and OIDC protocols.
• Proven ability to safely migrate configurations between testing and production.
• Security‑first mindset with clear documentation practices.
