IFA Administrator – Financial Planning Support

About the role

We are seeking an IFA Administrator to join a well‑established financial planning firm in London. You will support a team of Financial Advisers, ensuring smooth administration of client cases and delivering a high standard of service throughout the advice process.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare applications, documentation and client meeting packs for advisers.
• Liaise with providers, platforms and clients to progress new and existing business.
• Process Letters of Authority, valuations and ongoing servicing requests.
• Coordinate client reviews and ensure follow‑up actions are completed.
• Maintain accurate client records across internal systems.
• Provide regular updates to clients throughout the advice journey.

Required profile

• Minimum one year of experience in financial planning, wealth management or financial services administration.
• Good understanding of pensions, investments and the financial advice process.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communication style and professional approach with clients.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Experience using financial planning back‑office systems (advantageous).
