IFA Administrator – Path to Junior Paraplanner (Wealth Management)

About the role

Our client, an established independent financial adviser firm near Hemel Hempstead, is looking for an IFA Administrator who will progress onto a junior paraplanner role within wealth management. The position offers a supportive environment, hybrid working after training, and clear career development.

Key responsibilities

• Process new business, fund switches, withdrawals and policy servicing across multiple providers such as Aviva, Fidelity, Prudential, Aegon and Quilter.
• Maintain client records using back‑office systems, with XPLAN training provided.
• Support advisers with valuations, reports and compliance administration.
• Liaise with clients and providers to ensure a high level of service.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in IFA administration.
• Confidence using provider platforms and CRM systems.
• Knowledge of FE Analytics, Defaqto or Cashcalc is advantageous (training available).

What we offer

• Salary £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience.
