IFA Sales Support Administrator – Financial Services

About the role

The role supports a respected independent financial planning firm by providing administrative assistance throughout the sales and client‑review processes. You will act as a key liaison between advisers, clients and back‑office systems, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks that support the sales pipeline and client review cycles.
• Communicate with clients via letter, email and telephone regarding their business.
• Maintain client records in back‑office systems such as Intelliflo.
• Process new business applications, verify documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create and process fund switch reports and keep investment reviews up to date.
• Prepare documentation for paraplanners, including fact‑finds, risk assessments and scheme information.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience dealing directly with clients in the financial services sector.
• Strong telephone etiquette and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure, organise workload and meet deadlines.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using the Intelliflo back‑office system.
