IFA Support Team Leader (Hybrid) – Glasgow

About the role

Join a fast‑growing Independent Financial Advice firm as an IFA Support Team Leader. Based in Glasgow with a hybrid schedule (minimum three days in the office), you will lead a team of IFA Administrators who provide essential support to financial advisers across several locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a multi‑office team of IFA Administrators.
• Allocate workflow to meet service level agreements and deadlines.
• Conduct regular one‑to‑one meetings, performance reviews and coaching sessions.
• Produce and analyse management information to drive performance improvements.
• Champion operational efficiency and support business improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and training of new staff.
• Build strong relationships with advisers and key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience in an Independent Financial Advice, wealth management or financial planning environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams of administrative support staff.
• Strong understanding of financial planning administration processes and industry regulations.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
