Immediate Start Accounts Payable Assistant

About the role

We are a large corporate business based in central Birmingham seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant on a temporary basis, with the possibility of becoming permanent. The role reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and offers an immediate start. The position is located in central Birmingham with excellent public transport links.

Key responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices.
• Handle supplier queries by phone and email.
• Reconcile supplier statements.
• Assist with the preparation of monthly payment runs.

Required profile

• At least 12 months recent experience in an Accounts Payable role.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers.
• Ability to commute daily to the city centre.
