Immigration Caseworker – IAAS Level 2

About the role

Our client, a progressive immigration law firm in Folkestone, is seeking an experienced Immigration Caseworker with IAAS Level 2 accreditation. You will manage a diverse caseload covering asylum, human‑rights, bail, appeals and judicial‑review matters, providing high‑quality client service from instruction to decision.

Key responsibilities

• Manage immigration cases from initial instruction through to final decision.
• Prepare and submit complex immigration applications and supporting documentation.
• Draft legal representations, appeal grounds and other submissions.
• Represent clients before the First‑tier Tribunal.
• Ensure compliance with SRA, IAAS, UKVI and GDPR regulations.
• Maintain excellent client care and case‑management standards.

Required profile

• IAAS/IAAC Level 2 accreditation (essential).
• Strong knowledge of UK immigration law and procedures.
• Excellent drafting, organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to independently manage a busy caseload of around 20 cases.
• Professional, detail‑oriented and client‑focused approach.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary £36,100 per annum.
• 20 days holiday (pro‑rata).
• NEST pension scheme (subject to eligibility).
• Standard Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am‑5:00 pm schedule with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch.
• On‑site role – no remote working.
