Import Export Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an Import Export Administrator to support the imports and exports departments of a customs clearance specialist. The role offers full training on the company’s IT systems and provides exposure to all aspects of customs clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist across both imports and exports departments to develop a solid understanding of clearance procedures.
• Maintain up‑to‑date electronic records, including customs data for imports and exports.
• Answer telephone calls, take accurate messages and manage company email communications.
• Use internal IT platforms such as Portal and Semaphore, as well as the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) and Atlas (HSE) systems.
• Support day‑to‑day administrative tasks and ensure data accuracy.

Required profile

• Willingness to learn and work in all departments.
• Strong organisational skills for handling records and communications.
• Ability to follow procedures and maintain accuracy.
