Import/Export Clerk (Multimodal)

About the role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well‑established logistics company based in Colnbrook for an experienced Import/Export Clerk with multimodal expertise. The role involves managing air, sea and road freight movements and ensuring smooth customs compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Handle import and export shipments across air, sea and road freight.
• Prepare and process customs documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with clients, carriers and internal departments to coordinate shipments.
• Track shipments, identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of all transactions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in import/export operations, preferably multimodal.
• Good knowledge of customs procedures and documentation.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with logistics systems.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per year.
• Shift pattern: Sunday 16:00‑01:00, Monday‑Thursday 19:00‑04:00.
