In-house Residential Property Dispute Resolution Solicitor

About the role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy in‑house legal team as a Property Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive. You will work closely with the Head of Legal, focusing on residential property disputes, First Tier Tribunal cases and County Court claims.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and represent the business in First Tier Tribunal applications, including case preparation, filing, and attending hearings.
• Handle County Court litigation (Small Claims and lower track) from inception to resolution.
• Instruct and oversee external solicitors and counsel when required.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify, manage and de‑escalate disputes and complaints.
• Mentor and support junior members of the legal function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential property litigation and dispute resolution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive is desirable.

Required skills

• Experience with First Tier Tribunal (FTT) procedures.
• Knowledge of County Court litigation processes.
