In-house Solicitor – Commercial & Technology Contracts

About the role

Join a globally recognised financial services organisation as an In‑house Solicitor, working on a diverse portfolio of commercial, technology and construction agreements. You will support key business functions in a fast‑paced, innovative environment, influencing high‑visibility projects.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS, software licences, sponsorship and cloud services contracts.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal and commercial risks across corporate real estate, capital projects and procurement.
• Manage contract lifecycle processes and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver practical, business‑focused legal solutions.
• Support strategic technology and digital transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or equivalent in the UK (or comparable jurisdiction) with 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience with commercial and technology contracts, including SaaS, software and cloud services.
• Background in corporate real estate, capital projects, procurement and framework agreements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Familiarity with construction and consultancy contracting models.
