Inclusion Manager

About the role

The Inclusion Manager will lead the college’s strategy to create an inclusive learning environment where every student feels they belong and can achieve their potential. Working across curriculum, professional services and external partners, you will champion equity, improve attendance and remove barriers for learners facing disadvantage or vulnerability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement inclusion initiatives that support care‑experienced, disadvantaged and at‑risk learners.
• Collaborate with curriculum and support teams to embed belonging and equity into teaching and enrichment activities.
• Act as the designated site lead for Children Looked After and care‑experienced students, supporting the Director of Inclusion.
• Build strong relationships with external agencies, the Virtual School and community partners to enhance learner outcomes.
• Monitor attendance, aspiration levels and progress, reporting on impact and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Passionate about inclusion and committed to high expectations for all learners.
• Proven ability to influence change through collaboration and relationship‑building.
• Experience working in an educational setting with vulnerable or disadvantaged groups.
• Strong organisational and leadership skills.
