Inclusion Manager – Secondary School (London)

About the role
The school is seeking an experienced Inclusion Manager to join its senior pastoral and safeguarding team from September. You will work closely with senior leaders, teachers and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and ensure every student receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
Key responsibilities
- Lead inclusion strategies that improve behaviour, attendance and student wellbeing.
- Support pupils with SEND, SEMH, behavioural, attendance and safeguarding concerns.
- Collaborate with the SENCO, safeguarding team and pastoral leaders to deliver targeted interventions.
- Develop individual support plans, monitor progress and coordinate multi‑agency meetings.
- Analyse attendance, behaviour and achievement data to identify trends and implement effective interventions.
- Promote restorative approaches and positive behaviour management across the school.
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and ensure statutory safeguarding procedures are followed.
- Champion equality, diversity and inclusion throughout the school community.
Required profile
- Proven experience working in a secondary school, academy or similar educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of SEND, SEMH and safeguarding frameworks.
- Ability to develop and monitor individual support plans.
- Excellent relationship‑building skills with students, families and external agencies.
- Data‑driven mindset for analysing trends and shaping interventions.
