Inclusion Support Manager

About the role

The school is seeking an experienced Inclusion Support Manager to lead day‑to‑day pastoral and behaviour support for secondary‑school students in South West London. Working closely with senior leaders, heads of year and the SEND department, you will help remove barriers to learning and promote a positive, inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inclusion and behaviour interventions across the school.
• Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents and carers to improve engagement.
• Coordinate targeted programmes that reduce attendance and behaviour issues.
• Support the school’s behaviour policy using restorative approaches.
• Monitor and record student progress, attendance and conduct.
• Liaise with external agencies to secure additional support for pupils.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, SEND specialists and senior leaders to achieve positive outcomes.

Required profile

• Previous experience in inclusion, pastoral, behaviour or safeguarding within a secondary school.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Calm, resilient and proactive approach to supporting young people.
• Experience with SEND, SEMH or at‑risk students.
• Commitment to inclusion and improving outcomes for vulnerable pupils.
• Ability to travel to South West London.
