Independent Children's Speech and Language Therapist

About the role
We are seeking qualified Speech and Language Therapists to join our independent network, delivering high‑quality assessments and interventions for children and young people covered by Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs). This flexible, ad‑hoc work allows you to manage your own schedule while supporting local authorities across the South East.
Key responsibilities
- Provide SALT provision on an ad‑hoc basis, typically 5‑50 hours per package throughout the academic year.
- Conduct assessments and deliver therapeutic interventions in children’s homes and educational settings.
- Produce clear, evidence‑based reports aligned with EHCP requirements.
- Collaborate with Reed’s support team for administrative and logistical assistance.
Required profile
- HCPC‑registered Speech and Language Therapist based in the UK.
- Experience with child‑centred assessments and delivering provision as outlined in EHCPs.
- Strong clinical reasoning and report‑writing abilities.
- Availability to work on some weekdays.
