Independent Financial Adviser – up to £80k + bonus

About the role

We are seeking an Independent Financial Adviser to join a well‑established wealth planning practice near Guildford/Godalming. You will manage a portion of an existing high‑net‑worth client book and actively develop new business through networking and referrals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive financial advice to private and corporate clients with investment thresholds of £500k and above.
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of City professionals, families, retirees and business owners.
• Generate new client opportunities by attending breakfast meetings, conferences, seminars and sponsored networking events.
• Achieve fee targets (bonus paid once you reach 1.5 × salary in fees).
• Collaborate with the Managing Director for mentorship and support.

Required profile

• Diploma‑qualified with Competent Adviser status signed off.
• 2–3 years of advising experience in wealth planning or financial services.
• Strong networking ability and a proactive approach to business development.
• Currently studying towards Chartered status (supported by the firm).
