Independent Financial Advisor

About the role

Join a growing independent financial planning firm in Glasgow and take over an established client bank from a retiring advisor. The position offers hybrid and flexible working, with no requirement to bring your own clients, allowing you to focus on delivering high‑quality advice supported by experienced paraplanners and administrators.

Key responsibilities

• Take ownership of an existing client portfolio and nurture long‑term relationships.
• Provide holistic financial planning advice across pensions, investments and protection.
• Conduct regular client reviews to ensure recommendations remain suitable.
• Develop new business by building relationships with prospective clients and professional introducers.
• Support a small number of corporate client relationships when required.
• Collaborate closely with paraplanners and administrators to deliver a seamless client experience.
• Maintain accurate, compliant client records.
• Contribute to the overall growth and success of the business.

Required profile

• Experience working as a Financial Advisor within a regulated environment.
• Level 4 Diploma qualified with CAS status.
• Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and financial planning.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Client‑focused approach and commitment to high‑quality advice.
