Independent Financial Advisor

About the role

Our client, a successful wealth management firm, is seeking an Independent Financial Advisor to join their team in London. You will inherit a full client bank and operate within a client‑centric environment, delivering holistic, whole‑of‑market advice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide fully holistic, independent whole‑of‑market advice to customers.
• Analyse clients’ circumstances and finances to identify suitable solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of advice in line with company standards and file‑quality requirements.
• Ensure client outcomes adhere to Advice Standards and Consumer Duty Policy.
• Deliver comprehensive verbal and documented recommendations following best practice.
• Undertake continuous professional development (CPD) and keep competence records up to date.

Required profile

• RQF Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or equivalent).
• Chartered Financial Planner status – either achieved or in progress.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Financial Adviser.
• Hold SPS (Statement of Professional Standing) issued by an FCA‑accredited body.
