Indirect Procurement Buyer – Project & Facilities

About the role

We are seeking an Indirect Procurement Buyer to lead project‑focused procurement activities for a global medical‑device manufacturer. The role combines day‑to‑day operational purchasing with strategic project work, primarily within Facilities and Capital Expenditure (CapEx) categories.

Key responsibilities

• Support both project‑specific procurement and routine operational purchasing tasks.
• Build strong relationships with Project Managers and engineering stakeholders.
• Develop supply‑chain relationships alongside Category Managers and monitor supplier performance using KPIs.
• Drive cost reductions and Gross Margin Improvement through continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to process evolution and change management across the procurement function.

Required profile

• Proven experience in indirect procurement as a Buyer, Category Buyer or Project Buyer.
• Background in a project‑focused, engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to balance operational, strategic and project‑based procurement activities.
• Outstanding stakeholder management and engagement skills.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with MRP systems.
