Indirect Tax Director – Financial Services

About the role

Join a fast‑growing indirect tax team within a leading global advisory firm. As an Indirect Tax Director you will focus on the financial services sector, advising top‑tier clients on VAT and IPT matters across complex transactions and international structures.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements and act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders.
• Support growth of key accounts and contribute to new‑business acquisition.
• Manage and mentor junior team members, providing hands‑on leadership.
• Deliver pragmatic, commercially‑focused advice on complex indirect tax issues.
• Identify and develop new market opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
• Collaborate with colleagues across service lines and geographies.

Required profile

• Extensive VAT experience within financial services (banking, capital markets, investment management, insurance or fintech).
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to provide practical client‑focused solutions.
• Proven track record in client relationship management and business development.
• Experience leading teams and managing complex engagements.
• Proactive mindset with a drive to identify opportunities.
• CTA or equivalent qualification preferred.
