Industrial Cleaner

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Industrial Cleaner to join a busy manufacturing site in Chester. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across production, office and welfare areas on a stable Monday‑Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled cleaning and housekeeping in production areas, offices, warehouses, stores and communal spaces.
• Sweep, vacuum, wash surfaces, empty waste bins and support waste segregation.
• Clean and restock welfare facilities such as toilets, showers, changing rooms and hygiene stations.
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely, including industrial vacuums and powered cleaning machines.
• Assist with site facilities duties like laundry cover, window cleaning and general maintenance.
• Support external site presentation tasks such as car‑park upkeep, grass cutting and hedge trimming where trained.
• Follow health, safety, environmental and hygiene procedures and report any hazards.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning or facilities experience, preferably in an industrial, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and maintain high standards.
• Reliability, pro‑active attitude and awareness of health and safety procedures.

Required skills

• Use of industrial vacuums.
• Operation of powered cleaning machines.
