Industrial Disease Paralegal

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Paralegal to join our Industrial Deafness legal team in Blackburn. The role supports attorneys with research, document preparation and case file management, ensuring high‑quality service for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough legal research to aid case preparation and strategy.
• Draft, review and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings and correspondence.
• Organise and maintain case files, keeping all documentation accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Assist attorneys in trial preparation by compiling evidence and preparing exhibits.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses and court personnel as required.
• Manage schedules, deadlines and correspondence using Microsoft Outlook and Word.
• Maintain confidentiality of all sensitive information in line with legal standards.

Required profile

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Paralegal (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong organisational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel and Outlook.
