Industrial Door Engineer – Glasgow & Central Scotland

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Door Engineer to cover Glasgow and the wider Central Scotland region. This field‑based position involves installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of industrial and automatic entrance systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Install roller shutter doors, sectional overhead doors, high‑speed doors, automatic doors, security shutters, gates and barriers.
• Service and maintain automatic entrance systems to ensure reliable operation.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and perform routine inspections.
• Respond to call‑out rota assignments, providing timely on‑site support.
• Ensure all work complies with health, safety and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate service records and liaise with clients on technical matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience with industrial door systems and automatic entrance equipment.
• Ability to work independently and travel throughout Glasgow and Central Scotland.
• Valid UK driver’s licence and clean driving record.
• Physically fit to handle manual tasks and lift equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
