Industrial Electrician – Steel Tubing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced industrial electrician to join a project in Salford, focusing on containment systems and steel tube installations. The assignment is initially for eight weeks with the possibility of extension, offering a hands‑on role in a dynamic engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, test and maintain electrical equipment within containment structures.
• Carry out wiring and connection of steel tubing systems according to project specifications.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults on site, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with mechanical and civil teams to coordinate multidisciplinary work.
• Document work performed and report progress to site supervisors.

Required profile

• Valid JIB Gold Card holder.
• Proven experience in industrial electrical work, particularly with steel tube installations.
• Ability to work on a contract basis for at least eight weeks.
• Understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) for contractor payments.
