Industrial Knitting Machinist – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

Corriculo Ltd is seeking an experienced Industrial Knitting Machinist / Machine Operator to join its aerospace manufacturing team in Harwell. You will work on cutting‑edge metal‑mesh and knitted components for aerospace applications, helping to deliver high‑precision products to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up and operate industrial knitting machines for a variety of 2D and 3D patterns.
• Program computerised knitting machines to create new knit designs and optimise existing ones.
• Develop and execute manufacturing processes for new knit patterns, joining techniques and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain machine performance, perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues.

Required profile

• Proven experience with industrial knitting technology in a production environment.
• Hands‑on experience programming computerised knitting machines.
• Practical sewing skills, including over‑lock stitching.
