Industrial Management & Internal Controller (Northampton)

About the role

John Lobb is seeking an Industrial Management & Internal Controller to oversee the financial performance of its manufacturing operations in Northampton. Reporting to the Head of Management & Internal Control in Paris, you will provide accurate financial reporting, combine quantitative analysis with operational insight, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver reliable financial reports for the Northampton manufacturing site.
• Analyse financial data and collaborate with operational teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and strengthen internal control standards across relevant Group processes.
• Support the Finance team’s transformation initiatives under the new CFO and Head of Management & Internal Control.
• Supervise one Management Controller assistant based in Northampton.

Required profile

• Highly analytical mindset with a strong appetite for process optimisation.
• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating with a finance team located in Paris.
• Comfortable engaging with industrial and operational stakeholders on financial matters.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and commercially aware.
