About the role
We are looking for an experienced Industrial Painter to join a shipbuilding project in Port Glasgow. This contract role covers Monday to Thursday, with both day and night shift options, and offers a competitive hourly rate.
Key responsibilities
- Clean, prepare and coat metal surfaces on ships.
- Apply heavy‑duty industrial coatings using spray systems.
- Operate blasting equipment to achieve surface readiness.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
Required profile
- Previous experience in industrial painting, including surface preparation.
- Possession of a valid TTP certification.
- Ability to work on a shipyard environment and follow H&S procedures.

What we offer
- Hourly rate of £17.58 (PAYE) with overtime paid at 1.5×.
